Pennine Sailing

Kidz @ Pen9 > 30

kidz@pen9 already has over thirty young members signed up and will be opening bookings for August's Kids' Week shortly on a first come first served basis. With so many youngsters we regret that in the first instance places (which are limited) will be available to bona fide club members only.
If there are places available nearer the time they will be open to relations and friends on the proviso that they join the club as Cadet members.

Friday Nights

Just a note to everyone about Friday nights - due to the pressure on boats and our insurance situation we are unable to permit friends of our young members to go afloat with us. We have had a couple of embarrassing situations where friends have been brought on the assumption that they would be able to sail and they have gone away disappointed.

Saturday afternoons can be used for this sort of thing as long as there is a responsible adult member 'in charge' - the duty team does NOT fall into this category. Please remember that youngsters may not play at the water's edge, paddle or swim, unless as a result of a capsize.
