The aim of the society is to enjoy a few days out playing at other clubs within about an hour’s drive of Beauchief.
We usually plan one outing per month (Mondays, April – October) with a Bacon Roll & Coffee on arrival, and 18-holes, followed by a meal. We aim for a total cost between £35-£45, including the cost of some prizes for each event. Members can play in as many or as few as they choose.
Members must be: Aged 55+, a Member of Beauchief GC, and have a Current Handicap. There is no annual membership fee, but we do ask for a £20 one-off joining fee to cover various expenses, including the course booking deposits.

As we need to pay for bookings in advance, we do require members who sign up for an event to pay in advance. Payment is usually required 2 weeks in advance and is not normally refundable.
